MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING OF THE EAGLE’S VIEW HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION HELD ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3rd, 2002, AT THE HOME OF GARY DAVIS, TIGARD, OREGON.

I.                  CALL TO ORDER

Gary Davis calls the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

II.               MINUTES OF LAST MEETING APPROVED

Motion by Gary Davis, second by Jeanne Christiansen

III.           TREASURERS REPORT

Checking account balance: $10,443.51

Reserve account balances reviewed

IV.             COMMITTEE UPDATES

No new business

V.                OLD BUSINESS

Parking issues - reviewed four options. No action will be taken pending legal advice.

Karl will meet with attorney Russell Hans to see if he has background to advise HOA and what the costs would be to HOA.

Developer items: silt fence removal on hold, deficient landscaping on tract G and gully on Tewkesbury have been completed

Board has applied to State Farm Insurance for Board liability insurance as well as liability for green space. Estimated costs $1100 per year.

Gary will provide information required for State Farm application.

Deposit of $5000 in to CD’s at Washington Federal is still pending.

US bank account available on line for review.

State of Oregon notification of our HOA is still pending.

Landscape scope of work has been defined in writing by board.

Bid requests will be given to ProGrass and Darby Landscaping.

Gary will check with CWS to be sure we have no pending issues in our 2 water areas of green space. 

VI.             NEW BUSINESS

Gary and Karl discovered three teenage girls using an auto to drive on greenway damaging grass.  Police were called and girls were turned over to their parents.

Damage estimate was $275.

The three teen girls involved in the incident and their parents came to board meeting.

The apology letters will be put on file with the police report.

They each read formal apologies and paid an equal share of the $275 damage estimate to the Eagles View HOA.

Board thanked Gary and Karl for their prompt action on the night of the incident.

A letter to all homeowners with board member names, homeowner’s HOA account status, and the new quarterly dues payment schedule was approved by the board.

This letter will be mailed to all homeowners.

Board discussed date for next homeowners meeting, final decision was postponed.

VII.    NEXT MEETING SCHEDULED – The next meeting will be held on Tuesday January 7^th, 2003 at 7:00 PM at the home of Karl Biedritzky.

VIII   ADJOURNMENT - There being no further items for discussion, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
