MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING OF THE EAGLE’S VIEW HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION HELD ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 7TH, 2003, AT THE HOME OF KARL BIEDRITZKY, TIGARD, OREGON.

Gary Davis calls the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.
Motion by Gary Davis, second by Wynne Wakkila
Checking account balance: $13,372.88
Architectural - No new business
Neighborhood watch – Several thefts reported in yards during holidays. Members advised to call in any small incidents to be on record with law enforcement officials.
Parking issues - reviewed four options once again. No action will be taken pending further feedback from attorney
Member of board to meet in person with attorney to review parking issues and process for collection of delinquent HOA dues
Silt fence removal on hold pending additional fence quotes. First quote is $840, will seek additional bids.
Application for Directors insurance has been sent in with current carrier ($2500 for both)
State Farm will need copy of bylaws, budget and income statement. All information has been forwarded to State Farm and are awaiting notification from them.
State of Oregon notification of our HOA is still pending.
$5000 to be put in to CD is still pending, to be deposited at Washington Federal
Expenses paid – ProGrass $1305, Community Association Institute $195 and $400 to
Jeanne Christiansen for audit of all past bookkeeping records. Each approved by two board members
Our New Owner notification process is now in place.
Reviewed details of ProGrass contract for 2003, $1050 monthly
Further discussion about annual homeowners meeting, targeted late in April as possibility
Reviewed all accounting issues associated with past accounting practices, most resolved
Question raised about who should prepare income taxes and do audit of accounting, will look for outside help in finding right person
VII. NEXT MEETING SCHEDULED – The next meeting will be held on Tuesday February 4th, 2003 at 7:00 PM at the home of Karl Biedritsky.
VIII ADJOURNMENT - There being no further items for discussion, the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
