MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING OF THE EAGLE’S VIEW HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION HELD ON TUESDAY DECEMBER 9TH, AT THE HOME OF WYNNE WAKKILA, TIGARD, OREGON.

MINUTES OF LAST BOARD MEETING APPROVED

 

TREASURE REPORT

            Checking Account Balance is $18,742.13

 

REPORTS OF COMMITTEES

            Architectural Control Committee

                        We will have a draft ACC guidelines developed for annual meeting.

           

            Neighborhood Watch

                        Meeting set for February, 2004

 

            Maintenance and Repair

                        Sprinkler System has been “put to bed” for winter.

                        Plants and rock installed by East Entrance

                        North Entrance not completed yet

                                               

 

OLD BUSINESS

1. Maintenance

                        a. Quotes from ProGrass:

                                    West end of Tewkesbury Court – Gary Davis to obtain prices for curbs and pavement.

                        b. Park Benches – Board approved purchase of this bench at a cost of $325.00

 

2. Legal Issues

                        a. Status of homeowners in arrears.  Currently, 31 owing $3543.39 (2 over $400, 7 over $108, 22 owe from $27 to $81)

                        b. According to our attorney, we will get the $480 from the bank when the details are completed on the foreclosure.  Lot 76

                        c. Have received $220 payment on other “high dollar” arrearage.  Lot 119

 

3.         Financial Issues

                        a. $10,000 is in CD’s and Money Market at Washington Federal.

                        b. Signed CD signature cards again, Washington Federal misfiled the others.

                        c. What Accounting program did we purchase and what was the cost? On Hold at this time.

 

 

NEW BUSINESS

1. Accounting issues.

            Have names of two CPA firms and will contact them as to audit.   Have spoken with one, have call into other.

 

2. Maintenance

            ProGrass gave us quote for next years lawn care.  They are holding price to $1050 per month. Board voted to retain ProGrass for another year.

 

3. Financial

            Budget

                        Reworked reserve plan and found that we are under funded by $6000.00.  We need to   increase reserve allocation and make up the difference.  Along with our normal operating costs, we need to leave the monthly dues at $27.00 per month.      

 

4. Annexation of Bull Mountain

            No additional information at this time.

 

5. Annual Meeting January 20 the Board agreed to the following:

            a. Door Prize will be $50 gift certificate.

            b. Notice of meeting will be mailed and e-mailed to all

            c. Will need to elect a new Secretary for one year term

            d. Richard Brown Auditorium will be reserved.

            e. Meeting set for 7:00 pm

 

7. Set next meeting date.  Suggest Tuesday, January 6 at 7:00pm.  Who wants to be host?
