MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING OF THE EAGLE’S VIEW HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION HELD ON Wednesday, May 19, 2004 AT THE HOME OF Wynn Wakkila, TIGARD, OREGON.

MINUTES OF LAST BOARD MEETING WERE APPROVED

 

TREASURE REPORT

·         Checking account balance $29,764.08

 

REPORTS OF COMMITTEES:

1.              Architectural Control Committee

·         ACC guidelines status: copy of preliminary draft guidelines were handed out some time ago.  JLS has 7 homes; Morissette currently has no homes.  We will need to press ahead with this.

 

2.              Neighborhood Watch

·         The neighborhood picnic will be in September with a final date to be determined.  Gary will look into reserving a fire truck and someone from the Sheriff’s office.

 

3.              Maintenance & Repair

·         Will barkdust where the monuments are.  Flowers will be planted.

·         Gary has found someone to take care of the retention ponds that have been turned over to the Homeowner’s; Morissette was previously responsible and have now pulled out after two years. 

·         Crush gravel will be done soon

·         Tewkesbury Ct has been rocked at the barrier

·         There was suggestion to place a picnic bench instead of a park bench at the play structure.

·         Would like to purchase 4 total park benches at a cost of $12,000 - $14,000.  There was a motion to look at the placement of these benches and the future use of a picnic bench – this will be brought forth to the next Homeowner’s meeting in August.

 

OLD BUSINESS

 

1.              ASR Well Final Feedback – a big “thank you” from Brian Rager, City of Tigard Public Utilities to the HOA for considering the well.  The City has put in a well just south of Woodhue and 150th Street.

 

 

NEW BUSINESS

           

  1. Financial: Suggest we add $12,000 to Reserves.  $4,000 to Money Market and $8,000 to CD’s ($4,000 in a five yr and $4,000 in a one year.  Motion to put $10,000 to Money Market and $6,000 in CD’s.
  2. Homeowner’s Association Arrears: decreased to five homeowners current balance is ($1,145.24) – Gary sent letters.  It was clarified that the late fees will apply to everyone.  There is currently a 1% late fee charge from allowed by our Bylaws.  There are three homeowners who owe more than $200.00; Russell Hanf, Attorney has sent letters with no response from the homeowner’s. 
  3. There was a complaint about a boat trailer on 145th Terrace – Gary is looking into that complaint.

 

 

Next Homeowner’s Meeting:  August 11th, 7:00 pm at Wynn Wakkila’s home.
