MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING OF THE EAGLE’S VIEW HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION HELD ON Wednesday, August 11, 2004 AT THE HOME OF Wynn Wakkila, TIGARD, OREGON.

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: 7:10 pm

 

MINUTES OF LAST BOARD MEETING WERE APPROVED

 

 

REPORTS OF COMMITTEES:

 

1.              Neighborhood Watch

·         The neighborhood picnic will be in October 10th from 3-5pm.  Wynn will work on getting the Sheriff’s office with a dog, motorcycle police and a patrol supervisor to come.  Gary will talk with the fire station to see if a fire truck can stop by.  Will also check with Crime Prevention and Friends of Bull Mountain for representation.  Would like to offer 2 $50 gift certificates for door prizes (1 from Safeway and 1 from Home Depot).  Gary will check with Prograss to see if they can offer a gift certificate.  Will also get a $25 gift certificate for Baby R’ Us.

 

2.              Maintenance & Repair

·         Picnic tables and benches are purchased. 

·         Four concrete pads for the benches have been poured.

·         The West Retention Pond area (crushed gravel); Play structure area and Woodhue Monument area (retaining wall) have improved landscaping

·         Prograss has put fertilizer spikes in the trees along 141st

·         The watering schedule has been changed for the greenspace due to the warmer weather.

 

OLD BUSINESS

 

  1. Legal Issues:
    1. The status of the homeowners in rears was discussed
    2. Boat trailers have been moved
  2. Financial Issues: an additional $8,000 was put in a Money Market Fund at Washington Mutual

 

NEW BUSINESS

           

  1. Financial
    1. Gary will send out signature cards for Washington Federal for Homeowner’s Association to sign
    2. Need to have attorney file liens on three homeowner (91, 98, 119).  There was a suggestion that Russell send certified letters and if there are no responses by August 30th the Liens will be filed by September 1, 2004.  His legal fees and court costs will be added to arrearages.

 

  1. ACC
    1. Steve is working on fencing issues.
    2. Will allow vinyl fencing on a case-by-case basis with a request to the Homeowner’s association.
    3. It was decided that any vinyl fencing approved would need to have the posts and fencing all white.  If you are using wood posts, they will need to be painted white with a good sealed paint that will last.

 

  1. Play area: picnic table has been delivered and installed
  2. Gary is checking into the house that was overlooked for landscaping.

 

Next Homeowner’s Meeting:  September 15th, 7:00 pm at Gary Davis’s home (finalization of potluck plans)
